To help with the growing demand for personal protective equipment (PPE), Georgia Expo, Suwanee, Ga., has begun sewing fabric masks. The company has moved to two — soon to be three — shifts to keep up with demand. American Rental Association Read the full story here.
With masks in short supply, Georgia Expo pivoted its seamstresses to making masks. It hired 17 new workers this week, will hire 30 next week, and is retraining other workers to sew.
